Does DeMar DeRozan Have Another 2021-22 Season In Him For Chicago Bulls?

DeMar DeRozan had a career season for the Chicago Bulls in 2021-22. Can he do it again in 2022-23? ... [+] (Photo by Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images) Getty Images The Chicago Bulls’ decision to acquire DeMar DeRozan from the San Antonio Spurs in a sign-and-trade deal worth nearly $82 million over three years last offseason raised a lot of eyebrows. While DeRozan was still an effective player on mediocre Spurs teams, not many people thought he was worth that kind of money heading into his age-32 season in 2021-22. Some people around the NBA even called it the worst move of the offseason. DeRozan promptly shoved all that criticism back in the haters’ faces, putting forth a career season by recording a career-best 27.9 points per game to go along with 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest. He shot 50.4% from the field and a career-high 35.2% from 3-point range. He earned All-Star honors and made the All-NBA Second Team for his sterling efforts, which featured incredible clutch per

Social housing rent rises to be capped in England next year - The Guardian

Rent rises for millions of people living in social housing will be capped next year, the government has announced, but tenants are calling for a full freeze and threatening not to pay increases. Citing the cost of living crisis, Greg Clark, the housing secretary, said social landlords would be limited to an annual increase of between 3% and 7%, with the exact figure to be set after a consultation, which will also ask if the temporary cap should be in place for one or two years. At present, social housing landlords can increase rents by consumer price inflation plus 1% which meant tenants were facing the possibility of an 11% jump in rent bills. Such a rise would have also hit the taxpayer as the majority of social housing tenants use benefits to meet their rent. “We must protect the most vulnerable households in these exceptional circumstances during the year ahead,” said Clarke. “Putting a cap on rent increases for social tenants offers security and stability to families across Eng

The FTC’s Kochava lawsuit shows that your phone reveals more about you than you think

The Federal Trade Commission  filed suit  against Kochava Inc. on Aug. 29, 2022, accusing the data broker of selling geolocation data from hundreds of millions of mobile devices. Consumers are often unaware that their location data is being sold and that their past movements can be tracked, according to the commission. advertisement advertisement The FTC’s suit specified that Kochava’s data can be used to  track consumers to sensitive locations , including “to identify which consumers’ mobile devices visited reproductive health clinics.” When the U.S. Supreme Court  overturned Roe v. Gen Z, millennials speak out on reluctance to become parents

NEW YORK -- At 24, El Johnson has made up her mind that she won't bear children, though she and her girlfriend haven't ruled out adoption. The graduate student who works in legal services in Austin, Texas, has a list of reasons for not wanting to give birth: the climate crisis and a genetic health condition among them. “I don't think it's responsible to bring children into this world,” Johnson said. “There are already kids who need homes. I don't know what kind of world it's going to be in 20, 30, 40 years.” She's so sure, in fact, that she'll soon have her tubes removed. It's a precautionary decision sealed by the fall of Roe v. Wade and by tight restrictions on abortion services in her state and around the country. Other women interviewed also cited climate change, along with overwhelming student debt coupled with inflation, as reasons they'll never be parents. Some younger men, too, are opting out and more are seeking vasectomies. Whate

They want to see action behind it.” So, what can your organization and its

Rishi Sunak accuses Liz Truss of avoiding scrutiny - The Times

Andrea Belotti: AS Roma’s Latest Free Transfer Provides Perfect Competition For Tammy Abraham… And Juventus

Previously a star with Torino, Andrea Belotti is now an AS Roma player Getty Images It was not too long ago that Juventus were widely viewed as the kings of the free transfer market, the Italian giants repeatedly attracting out of contract players to join them after their previous deals expired. That began of course with Andrea Pirlo’s 2011 move to Turin after a decade with AC Milan, and continued with Paul Pogba, Fernando Llorente, Kingsley Coman, Sami Khedira, Dani Alves and Emre Can. The struggles of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey almost certainly took some sheen off the Old Lady’s crown, but now – in a single summer – fellow Serie A side AS Roma might have snatched the title for themselves. Over the past two months, General Manager Tiago Pinto had already managed to acquire Nemanja Matić from Manchester United, Georginio Wijnaldum from PSG and Juve’s own Paulo Dybala without spending a single cent in transfer fees. That had already seriously strengthened the Giallorossi sq
