'Days of Our Lives' Actor Cody Longo's Cause of Death Released

Cody Longo, an actor you may recognize from roles on projects including Days of Our Lives and Hollywood Heights, tragically passed away earlier this year at the age of 34.

Now, his cause of death has been confirmed after his autopsy was completed.

TMZ obtained a copy of the autopsy and it noted that he passed from “chronic ethanol abuse” and his death was of “natural” means. “Chronic ethanol abuse” is a medical term used to say he passed from alcohol abuse.

TMZ also reports that Cody was found deceased in a room “littered with alcohol bottles.” Cody‘s wife Stephanie asked local police to perform a wellness check after she was unable to get in touch. Officers found him in a bed.

Cody had three children, a daughter and two sons ranging in age from 7 to 1.

Our heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Cody. RIP.
